River Kids
We create a safe, fun, and engaging environment where children ages 6–12 learn about Jesus and grow in their faith. Our trained volunteers lead classes, activities, and events designed to help kids encounter God’s love in a way that makes sense to them.
In River Kids, children learn about Jesus through interactive teaching, build meaningful friendships, and worship together. They hear Bible stories that shape their hearts and help them understand who God is and who they are in Him.
We believe in raising children up from a young age to know that they can be used powerfully by God. Our heart is not only that they learn about Jesus, but that they truly encounter Him in a Holy Spirit-filled environment. We encourage children to grow in confidence in their faith, to hear God’s voice, and to step out boldly in sharing their faith.
Young Adults
Our Young Adults Ministry is all about helping teenagers and young adults know Jesus in a personal way and live out their faith with courage and joy. It is a place to grow, connect, and discover what it means to follow Christ in everyday life.
We meet through weekly gatherings, small groups, outreach, worship nights, and mentoring. These moments create space for real friendships, honest conversations, and genuine encounters with God. Together we learn what it looks like to walk with God in school, college, work, and daily life.
Young adults discover who they are in Christ, explore the gifts He has placed inside them, and find practical teaching they can apply. As they grow, they also step into purpose by serving their city, their church, and the world around them.
Prayer & Intercession
Prayer is the heartbeat of River Church Limerick. Everything we do begins and ends with prayer because it is how we connect with God, stand in faith for others, and see His will at work in our lives and in our city.
Our Prayer Ministry is made up of people who carry a genuine passion to pray for our church, our community, our nation, and the wider world. Week after week we gather to pray for revival, lifting up the needs of Limerick and believing for God to move in power.
Our intercessors pray over local ministries, government leaders, and community needs, and we also respond to urgent prayer requests as they arise. If you have a need, you can share it confidentially. Our team will pray with you and stand alongside you in faith.
River Worship
The heart of River Worship is to lead people into the presence of God with purity, excellence, and joy. Worship is not a performance for us. It is a moment to lift up Jesus and create an atmosphere where people can encounter the Holy Spirit in a real way.
Our worship team is made up of singers, musicians, and media support who carry a desire to honour God with their gifts. We rehearse, prepare, and pray so that our Sundays feel seamless and Spirit-led, reflecting the unity and focus your team emphasised in training and planning.
Whether it is a gentle moment of reflection or a room filled with praise, our aim is the same every week: to lift Jesus high and help people draw near to Him. If you feel called to worship, there is a place for you to grow and serve.
River Hospitality
The Hospitality Team helps create the warm, family atmosphere that people feel the moment they walk through our doors. We believe hospitality reflects the heart of Jesus. It makes space for people to breathe, settle in, and feel seen from their very first visit.
Inspired by the biblical spirit of kindness and service that goes the extra mile, our team greets guests, offers practical help, and ensures everyone feels at ease in our church home. A smile, a warm conversation, or a simple act of care can open someone’s heart to what God wants to do.
Our desire is that every person who visits River Church Limerick leaves knowing they were welcomed, valued, and loved.
River Media
The Media Team serves behind the scenes so that people can encounter God without distraction. Whether it is sound, livestream, lyrics, or visuals, everything we do is about pointing people to Jesus and stewarding what God is doing in the room.
Our team carries the responsibility of capturing moments of worship, testimonies, prayer, and ministry so they can reach far beyond our walls. Media is not just technology to us. It is a ministry of clarity, excellence, and reverence, built on values like humility, sensitivity to the Holy Spirit, and reliability.
From the livestream to the sound desk to photography, our heart is to support the move of God and help tell the story of what He is doing in the lives of people in Limerick.
