River Church meets at Leamy House on Hartstonge Street (V94 CH9E), right in the heart of Limerick City.

It’s only a short walk from O’Connell Street, making it easy to find whether you’re driving, walking, or using public transport.

What to expect?

A warm welcome, Spirit-led worship, and a clear message about Jesus. Be yourself. No pretense. Real people and real community.

Will I know anyone?

Maybe not yet. Our welcome team will look out for you, show you around, and help you find a seat.

How long is the service?

We start at 11 a.m. and finish at 2 p.m. If you need to slip out early, no problem.

What will the music and style be like?

Contemporary worship with a relaxed, faith-filled atmosphere. Join in or sit and listen. Both are welcome.

What if I am not a Christian?

You are very welcome. Many people visit while exploring faith. The teaching is clear and easy to follow.

Getting Here

Where is Leamy House and how do I get there?

Leamy House, Prior’s-Land, Hartstonge Street, Limerick City, V94 CH9E. It is a short walk from O’Connell Street. Use Google Maps for directions.

What about parking and accessibility?

Street parking is nearby with public car parks close by. However, please note that the main entrance is not wheelchair accessible, and accessible toilets are not available at this location.

Can I watch online instead?

Yes. We stream live every Sunday at 11.00 am from Leamy House.

You can watch via our YouTube channel. Say hello in the chat and share a prayer request if you like.

Children & Families

What about my kids?

Yes. There is a cosy space for kids available with trained volunteers.

Is there childcare for babies and toddlers?

Parents are kindly advised to care for children under 4 themselves. A cosy space is available for little ones Volunteers will be nearby to offer support if needed.

What about safeguarding and safety for children?

All kids’ volunteers are trained, and we use check-in procedures along with a two-leader policy in every room to help ensure a safe and welcoming environment.

Can I bring friends, family, or a child with special needs?

Absolutely. Tell the welcome desk what you need and we will do our best to support you.

During & After the Service

Do you celebrate communion?

Yes. We celebrate Communion at River Church Limerick to remember Jesus and what He has done for us. A leader will guide everyone through it clearly. If you’re a follower of Jesus, you’re welcome to take part. If you’re still exploring faith, you’re welcome to observe, with no pressure.

What happens after the service?

Tea and coffee are served. Stay for a chat, ask questions, or meet a pastor. It is a simple way to get to know people.

Do I have to give money?

No. Giving is voluntary. Your presence is what matters most.

Can I get Prayer?

Yes. Our team prays with people every week. Ask any leader after the service or submit a prayer request online.

Do I need to register beforehand?

No. Walk in on Sunday. If you prefer, fill in the Plan Your Visit form and a host can meet you at the door.

How can I let you know I visited or ask questions later?

Can I serve on a team even if I am new?

Yes. Start with a quick chat at the Connect area or fill in the Join a Team form. We will help you find a good fit.

Is it okay to bring my pet or service animal?

Service animals are welcome. Other pets are best left at home.
